Some of the art looks like ones done by the MAD Magazine people.Long Live Cool !
Jack Davis did a bunch of art for Topps. His cartoons are on the back of one of the late 50's/early 60's sets but I can't remember which one off the top of my head. Robert Crumb also did some art for one non-sport oddball set, one of these days I'd like to track down one of those cards.
Dayf - Those were the Topps Monster Greetings set. Crumb did all the art for the fronts and topps employees posed with masks for the reverse. Ebay usually has many listed, you can get an example often for around a couple dollars if you watch.
